About Andy, Founder of Primal Wellness
Andy is a passionate health and wellness expert, Since he was a young teenager he has had a love for health and wellbeing and has been fascinated at what a properly trained body can do, this fascination and burning desire to understand how the body works lead him to become a personal trainer as soon as he turned 18. since then he has continued his education over the past 6 years practicing and sharpening his skills to better serve his clients.
After years of studying 100’s of books, home study courses, audio programs, seminars, conferences and most recently taken his studies light years ahead of the rest by completing the CHEK Institutes Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Exercise Coach and CHEK Practitioner level 1 courses.
Andy works with his clients to find the underlying cause of their health problems, He works with people from all over the country through phone/Skype as-well as working on a more personal one-to-one basis in and around his local area of Newport, South Wales.
Andy takes a holistic, functional approach to rebuilding health from the ground up. As a Functional Diagnostic Nutritionist (FDN) and Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor (CMTA), and currently working towards his CHEK Practitioner level 2, Andy does not focus on symptoms. Rather, he is solely concerned with uncovering the root cause(s) of health challenges.
A typical Client of his has tried all the fad diets, been to see other personal trainers and tried out bootcamps along with suffering with a hole host of conditions and aliments from digestive issues, detoxification problems to chronic back, shoulder and neck pain.
Yet even though people are presenting with these symptoms they are told they are fine and worse yet they haven’t even had a basic assessment done on them to find the underlying cause or to see if there are any orthopedic issues that need to be address prior to starting an exercise program!
Andy works with his client by:
- Educating the client to understand the process of healing and how stressors break down the body.
- Building health from the ground up.
- Balancing the body by addressing the 5 Pillars of Health.

Andy does NOT diagnose or treat conditions. The focus is on FUNCTION. Identifying and repairing malfunctions in the above systems is the key to regaining health. The goal is to restore the body to the balance and harmony it was intended to enjoy.
